My Label Redesign project Research

I chose to redesign Lance whole grain cheddar cheese crackers.

This is the product I am redesigning. For as long as I know the product design has been the same. It was basically designed for moms to place in children lunch boxes for school. I plan on making it more modern and making it more eye catching for moms.

Here is a link that show lance product and ingredients.

Lets take it back...This is the first lance cracker. It first came out in the 1915's.

1954 — The first Lance vending machine.

Here are some pictures I took at walmart to show the location of the product I'm redesigning and its competitors:

My Three Finished Post Cards :)

My location was the Metropolitan Museum of Art. To bring all three postcards together I used the three colors of the actual logo of the company. We had to pick three words (one for each postcard). I chose Multiculural, Inspire, and Masterpiece. I broke the three words each into 2 slybles to push the unity in the postcards. Each design had to make since in notonly describing the meaning of the word but the meaning of the location. After redesigning the postcards to get the concept of the project constantly until it was due I was able to impress the customer with being able to follow what was wanted on the assignment sheet.

Post Card Ideas

When creating a postcard only using type think of the placement of the information. How do you want the view to correspond to your design. Every detail is important.

Think about space. What are you trying to convey on your postcard. How can you push the advertisement of not only the product itself but the company or place that promotes it.

Think about how much of the postcard you want to fill. Think about the concept of the postcard. Think about the colors and how it pushes your interpretation visually.

Audio Book and CD Design P3

This is the first aproach I tood to my cd design. I basically took everything from my book design and played around with placement and size to get an idea of what I can do.

This is the second aproach to my Cd design. I compared and contrasted other ideas I had and worked on the placement of the required information.

FINAL DESIGN!
This was the best result out of the designs. The costumer was saticfied but I wasnt. I learned that sometimes you have to modify things to what the customer likes in order to get things done right.
